Message to the Buddhist followers:… Meditation begins where concepts leave off, not by denying them but by recognising their limitations, for their function is to deal with limits, to define. Meditation is a process of perceiving deirectly, on the understanding that life cannot be know conceptually, but can only be directly experienced. Thus the basis of meditation is direct experience gained through constant observation, unobstructed by preconceptions, thoughts, images and conflicting emotions.
