We are pleased to know that Mr. Sonam Topgyal, Director,
Sumico Online, G-78, Lajpat Nagar-II, New Delhi 110024,
India, has decided to launch a new website project introducing
Tibetan Buddhist teachers, their teaching activities
and translation of their teachings in seven major languages.
We welcome the project and wish Mr. Sonam Topgyal success
in his valuable endeavour.
A website providing information on
personal history and activities of the Tibetan Buddhist
teachers in several languages would certainly be of
great value to all interested persons all over the
world. However, in view of the growing number of cases
of fraud in the name of religion or religious teachings,
the proposed website must make sure that what it holds
is more than a mere collection of information gathered
from all kinds of sources.
It may not be right to weigh everything
in terms of public benefits like information, income
and employment. Leading devoted persons-even inadvertently
- to the webs of fake spiritual teachers and teachings
is said to be extremely serious and sinful. It was
for this very reason that publication and circulation
of new religious books in ancient India and Tibet
were placed under strict control.
We recommend all organizations and
individuals who may be concerned for their valuable
support and co-operation in the successful completion
of the above project.

The project proposal of Mr. Sonam Topgyal, Director,
Sumico Online, New Delhi, to launch a new website
introducing Tibetan Buddhist teachers, their teaching
activities and their translations into seven major
languages is to be welcomed. His Holiness the Dalai
Lama believes that such a project will be of much
benefit. His Holiness blesses the undertaking and
wishes it success.
His Holiness is also pleased to learn
that Mr. Sonam Topgyal wishes to launch this website
in gratitude and to repay for all he has received
in his successful business venture as a Tibetan. In
keeping with this objective the website is being launched
as a service to others.

The preservation and propagation of authentic culture
and religion of any kind is very important for the
human race. Among various religions and cultures,
Tibetan Buddhism is outstanding, as it has pure leaving
lineage and great depth of reach culture, through
the Blessing of the Lord Buddha, Guru Padma Sambhava
and the great masters of the past and present.
Now is the time that many people learn and gather
information through the Internet. This is one of the
fastest ways of spreading information, but what is
most important is that the information is authentic
and not misleading.
I am delighted to know that Mr. Sonam Topgyal has
started a web site www.tibetanlama.com, which has
the aim of introducing the teachings and teachers
of Tibetan Buddhism to the world.
I sincerely pray that this project may bring great
benefit to everyone.

The project Tibetanlama started by Mr. Sonam Topgyal
is a wonderful thought in today's date. Our religion
and philosophy has been spreading fast, as such there
are a few people taking undue advantage of this fact.
I appreciate the aims and objectives
of this project to protect our culture from bad influence
and it is our duty to preserve our unique and precious
Tibetan Buddhism. Tibetanlama project brings all the
major school of thought under one roof and will be
beneficial to the followers of Tibetan Buddhism.
It is commendable that whole team
is putting their efforts to raise this campaign on
its right way. And my best wishes and prayers are
with them on their endeavour to provide reliable web
resource on Tibetan Buddhism. Thus I have no objection

Project. It is well timed and has strong objective
of preserving our unique and precious Tibetan Buddhism
at this fast flourishing period, through out the world.
It is very important to have a strong information
base on Tibetan Buddhism and all its school of thoughts.
Tibetanlama.com project brings all of the above under
one roof and will be beneficial to the followers of
Buddhism.
The efforts made by the team are commendable and
