Tibetan
Buddhism has a divination (prediction)
that is driven by the power and wisdom
of the teachings of the Buddha - Mo.
Mo is a form of divination widely used
within all four major schools of Tibetan
Buddhism with Lamas routinely offering
some form of Mo divination (prediction)
as an aspect of their pastoral service.
Mo is particularly helpful to people
going through life transition. In Buddhism
we say that everything changes. There
is no-thing that does not change. As
human beings we experience changes in
our external situation that are connected
with our close friends relatives, lovers;
our home; our work and finances; our
health; and so on. Negative changes
are very distressful and painful thus
one cannot keep waiting for next change
instead one need to make good decision
which can be very confusing and this
is where Mo helps.
Mo is generally done in two ways, by
the casting of dice or by seizing the
beads of a tenga’r or mala (rosary)
at random.
The latter method is known as Teng Mo
